Akina Rovers Hockey Club has been built on extremely sound foundations with 60
years of hockey experience in Hawkes Bay. The resources provided by the club
have successfully ensured that Akina Rovers Hockey Club has been able to make
strong progress on the plan it has set itself. Details of Club history,
Representative honors, etc of the current Open Grade champions, along with the
Clubs active social scene, highly popular social and family summer league,
junior development, etc can be seen on other pages of this web site. Akina
boasts the largest hockey club membership in Hawkes Bay and is the only club
with more than one women's and men's sides. As such our welcoming family club
offers a great social scene and quality hockey on the field.
